  • Coordinate and maintain CEO personal schedules as required, including hotel and vacation planning, social events, deliveries, pick ups, etc.
  • Work to keep the CEO on schedule and on track to help manage her time and priorities as directed and as needed.
  • Perform administrative tasks proactively for CEO to allow for better efficiency and time management in and for high-level business and creative initiatives.
  • Prepare accurate weekly and monthly expense reports and code accordingly.

Required PC Software Experience: Extremely proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook, all forms of email, online travel sites -- PowerPoint, Photoshop, Publisher, Quark, a bonus

Salary: Pending Experience (minimum 4-5 years experience as assistant or similar role).

Publicity Assistant
Picador

Publicity Assistant needed for busy, literary publicity department.  Will be responsible for providing administrative support to Director of Publicity and two senior staff members.  Responsibilities consist of both administrative and project work.  Administrative duties include clipping, filing, invoicing, media mailings, and maintaining the database.  Special projects include coordinating author tour schedules with Director, researching media, and implementing book publicity campaigns. Duties will grow to include creating press materials, arranging author tours, and setting up author interviews.  Strong potential for growth within department.
